Monthly bookkeeping

Books closed every month

Transactions categorized, accounts reconciled, statements in your inbox by the 15th. You always know where you stand.

Serving Lincoln, Omaha and southeast Nebraska

Starts at$350 a month

Most small businesses don’t have a bookkeeping problem. They have a knowing problem — the work is good, the money comes in, and nobody can say whether last month actually made anything.

Monthly bookkeeping fixes that by making the answer arrive on a schedule.

What happens each month

  • Every transaction categorized. Bank feeds, card charges, cash, the occasional personal purchase that snuck onto the business card. Coded and filed weekly, so nothing piles up.
  • Every account reconciled. Checking, savings, credit cards, loans — matched to the statement, to the penny. This is the step that catches the double charge and the payment that never cleared.
  • Statements by the 15th. A profit and loss, a balance sheet, and a short note from me telling you what changed and whether it matters.
  • Questions answered the same day. Text me. You get a person, not a ticket number.

What it costs

Where you land depends on how many transactions you run and how many accounts you have. No hourly billing, so asking me a question never costs you anything.

After our call I’ll work out the scope properly and send you a written quote within two business days. Nothing starts, and nothing is owed, until you’ve seen the number and said yes.

Who it suits

Owner-operators and small crews who are past the shoebox stage and want the books to stop being a Sunday-night job — plumbers, electricians, landscapers, salons, shops and repair businesses around Lincoln and Omaha.

If you’d rather do the handover in person than over email, that’s easy to arrange. Being local is the point.
